St Augustine Arts & Craft Festival

While we have been in St Augustine for only 2 years, we have been visiting the old city for over 20 years. But that’s nothing compared to the 47th year of the St Augustine Arts & Crafts Festival. This coming November 24th & 25th, Thanksgiving weekend as a matter of fact, brings the 47th annual St Augustine Arts & Craft Festival to St Frances Field.

It’s no wonder it’s one of St Augustine’s largest festivals with over 15,000 expected visitors, and cash prizes for art entries across multiple categories. While Henry Flagler brought artists to St Augustine over a hundred years ago to create an artist’s colony for his hotels and guests; today we have the St Augustine Art Association at 22 Marine St. who has been hosting this festival for decades. They keep the artists’ colony alive today by supporting galleries, artists, art education, festivals and of course the First Friday Art Walk of St Augustine.

Make your romantic travel plans at the Inn on Charlotte today, before we run out of rooms, but more importantly so you can enjoy the 47th St Augustine Arts & Crafts Festival.
