Saint Augustine Orchestra Opens its Season

It’s not often you get to enjoy an orchestra in the deep-end of the pool, but you can in St Augustine, Florida! The Saint Augustine orchestra opens its concert season this Friday with an eclectic mix:

The program will begin with Schubert’s tuneful Rosamunde Overture, and will also include “The Syncopated Clock” by Leroy Anderson.  A percussion solo within “The Marine Hymn” as well as a surprise guest soloist on violin  who will perform to variations from “A Wayfaring Stranger” will be presented.  The concert will conclude with music by John Williams from the film “Star Wars”.

So there is no better place to enjoy such wide variety of styles of music but in the Lightner Museum’s indoor pool, sans water, of course. At only $15 a ticket, it’s quite a deal. Here is their season schedule:
